Love gives me the energy.

For me, the first thing is script. When I heard 'Mom''s script, it really touched me and moved me. I felt really nice about the story. That's the reason I did the movie.

My father was a lawyer. I was fascinated to become a lawyer, too.

'Mom' is an emotional family drama that's also thrilling. It's the story about a mother and a daughter, their emotions, and how their lives change. Being a mother myself helped me understand those emotions better.

'English Vinglish' has given me so much respect. I am really thankful to director Gauri Shinde and her husband R. Balki. They blindly believed in me.

I am glad that I am in a position to select scripts I would be comfortable working in.

All the films that I did, I didn't plan them. They just came to me.

When the audience expects you to do a good job, you become more choosy. It becomes a responsibility.

I am in awe of Hrithik Roshan. He is so fabulous. He is like an all-rounder. I think he deserves to be in a Hollywood film.

All films that I have done, this legacy, is a like a dream come true for me.

I eat, sleep, and breathe movies. Though I didn't understand the seriousness of films when I made my debut, I felt on top of the world.
