I had my battles. I had my times of just being upset and God would show me, 'Hey, I'm right here, I'll walk you through this and it doesn't make sense now but just trust me.' That's where faith come in - trust.

I always write tons of different styles.
When you're reading the Word of God, you need to let it soak in and let God speak to your heart and let the Holy Spirit work.
When you don't trust people all of the sudden you stop trusting anything.
I believe that no matter what you believe, you're going to go through hard times.
Imagine no more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain... and one day we will forever be with Jesus.
I know that if you don't have Christ in your life then all the hope you have and the greatest thing you can gain is what you get from this earth.
Even being a Christian, you go through hard times. But you either go through hard times not having hope or realizing that Jesus is the only hope.
I've been through a lot and if God can use that story to help people through a lot of pain and heartache and share hope with people, well we'll see how it progresses.
I get on stage and realize what God has given me, and not just I sing some songs and tell a couple stories, or something that God's done. It's more like, 'OK, guys. I want to encourage you to go out to this world and show love and truth.'
My heart's desire is that people will listen to the Lord and his leading and really dive into the fullness of what He's called them to do, whatever that looks like.
If you really see through the eyes of how God sees people, He loves them, but what did He do? He spoke the truth. And the truth will set you free, and you shall be free indeed.
I want this world to come alive, to see that yes, you're dead in your trespasses, but you have been made alive in Christ.
People who are in jobs are striving to gain the most they can before they die through financial means, through their flesh, the lust of their flesh and man's drive for power. But as believers we are to be the opposite. We are to be humble, not prideful. We are to think of things that are true, whatever is noble, and whatever is worthy.
If you are a believer, you don't have to go out and be a street evangelist.
I have to be so thankful. I have two kids, my beautiful wife, I'm just blown away at God's grace and God's faithfulness.
Let's come together as the body of Christ and reach out and be the true hands and feet of Christ.
God's grace is definitely abundant.
We should be living a life of purity.
You see God's hands in so many situations. Then someone will point to all the bad things that are going on. Well, it's because we don't want God in our society. We are pushing God farther and farther away. And we can now see those consequences in our society.
It's been a crazy whirlwind, but I'm so blown away by God's hand on my life.
I'm not ashamed of the Gospel.
The biggest thing when you come to my show live... is that you get to know the person's heart - the stories behind the songs, the depth of the music and there will be some amazing worship moments. You'll get an amazing experience because this is real to me and you'll see that.
When you have an open wound, it's festering and hurting constantly. Then it finally heals and then becomes a scar. Well, pretty soon you're not feeling it and not really paying attention to it.
If I'm on stage and ministering my heart and pointing people to Christ, then that's all I can do.
There are a lot of people doing social justice things, which is great. But we can't just say, 'Here's some food. Here's some stuff.' We have to be able to give the gospel, share the hope and have a real heart for that.
I realize now that God has been with me every step of my life - through the suffering.
Unfortunately, with addiction, there's manipulation and deception.
I remember the Lord speaking into my heart and saying, 'Jeremy, I want you to stand up and worship me.'
No matter what hard thing you may go through or what kind of pain you may go through there is still hope.
Everything is in your face. The battle is that you're getting things from all ends like never before and the intensity is being turned up like never before. So there's a call to be set apart, and there's a call to speak the truth, and there's a call to start standing up and putting your faith in action.
I lost my wife to cancer and I saw the impact of telling my story - this is what happened, this is what God did and why he was faithful.
God had to teach me a lot of things.
You can fill up your time with anything that you want. And stuff per se is not bad - technology is awesome; if you use it for the right the reason, it's great.
We live in such a self-gratifying nation, and everything is instantaneous.
People have been asking me since I did 'Carried Me, The Worship Project,' 'When are you going to do another worship project?' And that's my favorite one.
I've been through a lot of things in my life.
All throughout the Bible, we get to see who Jesus is.
I think people need to realize they're not alone, and that there's hope, and it's running to Jesus.
Christ is my life.
When I lost my wife I had a whole different concept of her life. She lived 21 years and people who knew her know it wasn't about the great things she did on this earth. It wasn't that she had money or had popularity, it was that she loved Jesus Christ more than anything else in this world. That was how she related to the world.
I want to use what God has done in my life to comfort me and to minister to people.
Everyone can resonate with love.
I love in the Old Testament where they talk about Ebenezer so much... stones to remembrance. And it's like there's constant stones of remembrance of what God has done.
Yes, I'm a miserable, wretched sinner, but He loves me. And to Him, I'm His child, and I can walk in that love and that understanding.
When we go and play live... we go and we work with like different organizations: the food banks, homeless shelters, children's hospitals or different homes that are reaching out to people. And just to actually go and say, 'Hey, don't just hear me play, come to my concert, that's it, hope you have a good night.' It's like, 'Hey, come be a part.'
Years ago I watched my 1st wife suffer through cancer and she went to be with Jesus.
We all have the opportunity to share the gospel and we should - that's what we were called to do.
If you don't have much passion, well, get on your face and pray for the passion and get into the word of God. That's what I've been sharing. That's the whole concept.
I had joy always, because 'the joy of the Lord is my strength.' I mean, that is the truth.
